Course Prep: Setting Up Your Workshop
You don’t need a cosmetic lab for your skin care formulating workshop–your kitchen will do just fine! You'll need:
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Stirring utensils–small silicone spatulas work especially well
- Small mixing bowls
- Packaging containers–Mason jars, “upcycled” jelly jars, or Tupperware containers
You CAN use the same items you cook with for making your DIY skin care products, because the ingredients we’re using in this course are all edible (yay for natural skin care!) Just wash them well between uses.
(Note: the exception to this is when you’re making cold process soap, but that’s a different course. 😉)
