Want to make your own handcrafted body lotion from scratch? This is the workshop for you!

You will learn how to make professional-quality, better-than-store-bought body lotion, with amazing ingredients. This is NOT a greasy body butter class--you will learn how to make emulsified lotion the looks and feels just like your favorite beauty brands. Only your lotion will be much better, because it will be filled with moisturizing, skin-loving ingredients.

You'll go from complete beginner to confident lotion crafter in just a few hours.

During your private workshop, you will learn:

• The necessary ingredients and supplies needed to make exquisite body lotion
• Best oils and butters for making lotion, plus their amazing skin care benefits
• How to choose the right oils/butters for your skin
• How to make light, fast-absorbing lotions to thick, rich creams (and anything in between!)
• Safety guidelines you must adhere to, to end up with a SAFE finished lotion

During class you and your guests will make a batch of body lotion, from start to finish. Each guest will take home 8 oz. of finished lotion in a custom fragrance.

ALL-INCLUSIVE CLASS REGISTRATION FEE FOR UP TO 4 STUDENTS: $225

ADDITIONAL STUDENTS: $25 each additional person, up to 10 total students

DURING CLASS EACH STUDENT WILL MAKE: Approximately 8 fl. oz. of finished lotion. Each guest chooses their own fragrance from the available options.

NOTE: We will use a synthetic preservative to ensure your lotion does not grow mold or bacteria. This is a requirement for a safe finished product. The preservative used is a non-paraben, safe synthetic used at a rate of less than 0.5% of the total formulation.

CLASS FEE INCLUDES: All necessary ingredients, supplies, and tools needed to make body lotion. I bring it all for you!

CLASS RUNNING TIME: 2.5 to 3 hours +/-

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS: 14+

THE DETAILS:

• Classes can be held Tuesdays thru Saturdays. Both daytime and evening hours are available.
• Class is held at your location. This can be your home, church rec room, event hall, etc. You are responsible for choosing and/or booking the location. Any venue rental fees are the responsibility of the hostess.
• You will receive an electronic invitation with all the awesome details to send to your guests prior to your workshop date. The invitation includes my contact info; your guests are welcome to contact me directly with questions. 
• Non-refundable retainer fee of 10% is due at time of booking to hold your date.  Remaining class fee is due on day of class. Payment may be made by cash, credit or debit card, and Venmo.
• For safety reasons, children are NOT permitted in the workshop area during class. Thank you for understanding.
