Want to make your own handcrafted soap from scratch? This is the workshop for you!

You and your guests will make a batch of soap, using the "cold process" method. You'll begin with pure olive oil, coconut oil, and water, and finish with beautiful handmade soap to take home.

You'll go from complete beginner to confident soap maker in just a few hours.

During this hands-on workshop you will learn:

• Supplies needed to make soap
• Best soap making ingredients for beginners
• How to SAFELY work with lye
• The chemistry of soap making
• Master the basic soap making process

During class you and your guests will make a batch of cold process soap, from start to finish, and take home lovely handmade bars.

ALL-INCLUSIVE CLASS REGISTRATION FEE FOR UP TO 4 STUDENTS: $225

ADDITIONAL STUDENTS: $25 each additional person, up to 10 total students

DURING CLASS EACH STUDENT WILL MAKE: 4 bars (approximately 1 lb. cold process soap) in choice of Oatmeal or Lavender

NOTE: During class we will be working with lye. You can't make soap without it. You will learn how to safely work with lye, and each student will be provided with safety equipment (eye protection glasses and gloves.)

CLASS FEE INCLUDES: All necessary ingredients, supplies, and tools needed to make soap. I bring it all for you!

CLASS RUNNING TIME: 3 to 3.5 hours

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS: 16+

THE DETAILS:

• Classes can be held Tuesdays thru Saturdays. Both daytime and evening hours are available.
• Class is held at your location. This can be your home, church rec room, event hall, etc. You are responsible for choosing and/or booking the location. Any venue rental fees are responsibility of the hostess.
• You will receive an electronic invitation to send out to your guests prior to you workshop date with all the awesome details. Invitation includes my contact info; your guests are welcome to contact me directly with questions. 
• Non-refundable retainer fee of 10% is due at time of booking to hold your date.  Remaining class fee is due on day of class. Payment may be made by cash, credit, or debit.
• For safety reasons, children are NOT permitted in the workshop area during class. Thank you for understanding. 

PLEASE NOTE CLASS MUST BE HELD IN THE GREATER BOISE AREA: Boise, Garden City, Nampa, Caldwell, Meridian, or Kuna. I may travel to other areas for an additional fee. Please contact me for details.
